BIOGRAPHY
Having trained as a musician, Magdalen has remained committed to the arts and cultural world, both through personal interest and a wide-ranging professional career. Her experience is drawn from leadership roles in some of the UK’s most respected cultural organisations, including Sadler’s Wells, English Heritage, Museum of London, Zoological Society of London and Wigmore Hall.
Since establishing her consultancy practice in 2019, Magdalen has advised organisations both large and small at senior level, in a practice which spans governance review and board development; strategic planning and organisational development; and fundraising. She is used to dealing with diverse stakeholders, executive boards and charitable trusts and is experienced in supporting people at a senior level to develop their own leadership skills in order to increase their influence and impact.
