Leadership and delivery of £9.5m capital campaign
Beginning in April 2020, I developed a new case for support and strategy to deliver a new vision for the Grade I-listed North Wing at St Bartholomew’s Hospital. Working closely with CEO Will Palin and the trustees, I led the fundraising campaign which achieved its £9.5m target in January 2023. Major gifts and grants from a wide range of trusts and individual donors have secured the matched funding for a £4.9m NLHF grant. The transformation of these extraordinary historic spaces is the catalyst for a pioneering programme of public engagement which unites heritage, health and wellbeing.
Clore Duffield Foundation – June to October 2022
Review of Clore Learning Spaces and support for Cultural Learning
The Foundation has recently entered its final decade and remains focused on creating a strong legacy, ensuring its investment and support will continue to make an impact and change lives for decades to come. The first stage of the review gathered data and feedback from around 50 funded organisations through an online survey and drew insight from 24 consultation interviews including organisations not currently supported by the Foundation. Findings and proposals were tested and discussed at two roundtable sessions involving experts, practitioners and Foundation trustees. The final report will inform the Foundation in its strategic approach and funding over its remaining ten years.
